Please read the information below carefully as the running of the day will be different from ‘normal’ tournaments. These rules, conditions and provisions are in place to keep you, PGA staff, club staff and all members of the club as safe as possible.
DO NOT ATTEND ANY PGA TOURNAMENT IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS FOR COVID-19. THE MAIN SYMPTOMS INCLUDE: A HIGH TEMPERATURE, A NEW/CONTINUOUS COUGH OR A LOSS
OR CHANGE TO YOUR SENSE OF SMELL OR TASTE. IF YOU DEVELOP SYMPTOMS BEFORE OR DURING THE ROUND, CONTACT THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR IMMEDIATELY.
1. Preparing For The Event
- All players are to comply with relevant government guidelines, including restrictions in place within local lockdown areas.
- Professionals should download the 'PGA Tournaments' Bluegolf App in advance which will be needed to register and for scoring.
- Should you be feeling unwell, or you have been in contact with anyone showing symptoms of coronavirus please do not travel to the event and isolate following the government guidelines and rules.
- Players should bring their own PPE and hand sanitiser.
- Face coverings must be worn indoors.
2. Upon Arrival
- Players will be sent a ‘Check In’ link which will take you through the PGA App to allow you to officially register for the Championship.
- Toilet facilities will be open in the clubhouse.
3. Beginning Your Round
- Players should then make their way their allocated tee 10 minutes before their tee-time.
- There will be no printed information available. These are available through the TIP on BlueGolf and via the PGA BlueGolf App.
- Scoring will be via the PGA BlueGolf App - you will receive a text link to login into the App the day prior to the event.
4. During Your Round
- Should you complete a hole and the group in front not have vacated the next tee please wait away from the tee until safe to approach the teeing area.
5. Completing Your Round
- Upon completion of your round, you must move immediately to the recording area to confirm your scores verbally with your playing partners and then with PGA staff.
- Verbally confirming your own score with PGA staff will be considered the official point of return of your scorecard.
- There is no requirement to return any physical scorecards.
